Containing more than 2.6 million books, 51,000 print and electronic periodicals, 230,000 maps, and 15,000 reference sources, the Babbidge Library (HBL) also features electronic classrooms dedicated to undergraduate instruction in library literacy. With 24-hour study lounges and computer clusters for group projects, the Babbidge Library is the intellectual center of life at UConn. Bookworms Café is located on the library’s plaza level. It is named in honor of Homer Babbidge, the University’s 12th President (1962-1972). lib.uconn.edu
