Most medical care services are located at the Hilda May Williams building. Student Health and Wellness (SHaW) can serve as a primary medical care provider for students enrolled at Storrs. SHaW also provides immunizations, medical testing, sexually transmitted disease testing and treatment, gynecological care, birth control services and emergency contraception, and specialized treatment for a range of conditions. The SHaW Pharmacy is also located at the Hilda May Williams building. Here, pharmacists will fill prescriptions, provide drug information, and answer health-related questions. Non-prescription (or OTC) medications can also be purchased here.
